A little walk

Close your eyes an take a walk with me( on second thought don't cause then ya cant read) , out of the city and through the country side. The sky is clear the stars and moon are shining brightly, a light breeze rustles through the leaves. as we continue our walk we come to a very narrow path off the road, the path leads deep into the forest. as we enter the forest it gets very dark......except for a dim little dot of light coming from a lantern. we stop at the side of a rushing river, in the side of the bank is a enterance to a cave the man holding the lantern says to us " come father has been extecting you."
as we follow the man in to the cave he takes us deeper and deeper through steep and narrow passages. As we walk the man holding the lantern says "many have tried to find their own way in here but no one comes to the father but by me".
finally after seemingly hours of climbing through the dark, we see a light at the end of the passage, Nearer and nearer, the light gets brighter and brighter, then finally we enter a cavern, a glorious cavern, its splendor is indiscribable, at the end of the cavern is a enormous throne an sitting on the throne is a man, his face is kind, his smile is radiant, with a soft voice he says come, sit at my feet.



that is the picture that was in my head last night at youth group. to me that is what it is to sit at the feet of the father.
